On March 16, 2017 the Twenty-Seventh Annual International Drag Racing Hall of Fame Ceremony and Banquet, presented by Lucas Oil, was held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, in Gainesville, Florida.

The Board of Selectors were: Harry Hibler, Ted Jones, Steve Gibbs, Greg Sharp.

The 2017 Inductees were: Jeff Byrd, Jeep & Ronnie Hampshire, Dean Moon, Joe & Dellie Reath, Joe Schubeck, Bill Shewsberry, and Larry Sutton.

The Founders Award was presented to: Robert J McClurg.

The Pat Garlits Memorial Award was presented to Eileen Daniels.
