The Quarter Mile Foundation (QMF) is pleased to announce we will once again be present at the 2024 SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV, November 5-8, 2024.

Due to remodeling in the LVCC, the QMF will be in the Central Hall, at the end of the Toyota booth in Hot Rod Alley in Booth #22299.

It is with great excitement we share this year’s QMF celebrity guests:

One of the most iconic drag racers of all time, “Big Daddy” Don Garlits will be in the booth throughout the Show. Returning to the show for the first time since 2019, he will have his books available for purchase. Come get an autographed copy and have your picture taken with Don! Fun fact: Don Garlits is on the Board of the Quarter Mile Foundation.

Stepping outside the box a bit this year, we would like to draw attention to those afflicted or have lost a loved one to the dreadful disease of cancer. This year’s highlighted Beauty is The Wild Orchid. A 1923 Ford Owned and imagined by Danny Martinez as a tribute to his wife, and all of those affected by cancer. Though his wife passed before the car was finished, it is important to the Quarter Mile Foundation and owner Danny to share his creation dedicated to his wife. The vehicle recently received an honorable mention at this year’s Hot August Nights as well as many other car shows.

The incredibly talented Las Vegas local artist, Larisa Roshina will be joining us all week as well. She has created 3 amazing commemorative posters of Don “Big Daddy” Garlits, Tom “The Mongoose” McEwen and Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, available for purchase at the booth.

Larisa creates very distinguished and detailed artwork defining the spirit of all motorsports. Among her notable work is a extraordinary painting of Richard Petty, Linda Vaughn, and the legendary Dale Earnhardt.

Richard’s masterpiece has found a prominent home in The Richard Petty Museum, a testament to Larisa’s artistry and its historical value.

Moreover, Larisa’s skillful brushstrokes have also adorned the halls of the Nostalgia Street Rods Museum. Her paintings featuring champions like Larry Dixon, Richie Crompton, Morgan Lucas, Anthony Vanetti and the legendary Darrell Gwynn capture the essence of their achievements, adding to museum’s allure.
